Former foremen’s school in Mieres, built in 1894 and used occasionally as a barracks in 1914. Today it houses the House of Culture of the capital of Mieres.
It is a two-story building with a square-shaped plan. Towards the Camino de Santiago, its façade is configured based on a central body of two levels located between two lateral spaces advanced in plan, like towers.
The windows have a lowered arch and alternate rhythmically along the two floors of the building.
