Capilla de San Martín de Veriña

Hermitage located on a small elevation, in an environment highly altered by the installation in the 1970s of the nearby steel factory and by the construction of a series of auxiliary infrastructures for it.

It is a construction with a rectangular plan, with a single nave with a choir at the foot, and a straight head. The origins of the temple date back to the 12th century, having undergone different modifications over the centuries, the most recent being the construction of a modern free-standing steel bell tower, at the beginning of the 21st century, at the initiative of the neighborhood association.
