Edificio de viviendas

This block of flats is one of the main examples of art-deco and rationalist architecture in Gijón/Xixón, the work of the architect Pedro Cabello Maíz, from the year 1930.

It is a free-standing building, adapted to the shape of the plot, with a triangular floor plan, with a ground floor, six floors and a marquee-shaped finish. On the façade, materials and curved and straight elements alternate, creating contrasts very much in the taste of the art-deco architectural style.
