Monastery founded at the end of the 10th century, it preserves some Romanesque remains in the cloister from its initial stages. Reformed over the centuries, today it is presented as a monumental complex made up of the tower, the work of Melchor de Velasco in 1650, the church, from 1590, the work of Leonardo de la Cajiga, with clear Palladian echoes, and the whole of the Vicaría, from 1703, the work of Pedro de Cardeña, conceived in the manner of a great urban palace, built on a large plinth.
