Building promoted by Joaquín de la Torre Gancedo, linked to the Gijón/Xixón gas company at the end of the 19th century.

It is a building with a square plan, with a symmetrical distribution of its openings, highlighting in the main facade a central axis made up of the access door (which is accessed by a double staircase), on which a gallery is developed on two floors glazed with a semicircular pediment finish.
