Place of the Trasona parish at 16 meters of altitude, with 235 inhabitants. Nucleus emerged on the edge of the medieval road that linked Gijón/Xixón with Avilés. The primitive Romanesque parish church was located next to the cemetery and was destroyed in the civil war. A Romanesque font of holy water is preserved in the new temple.
