San Roque l’Acebal

Example of a linear population developed around the current national highway, at an altitude of 52 m. It is a strategic place, close to the capital of the council, Llanes, which has determined that historically facilities such as the San Lázaro de Cañamal malatería were located here in the Middle Ages, founded in the 12th century and in operation until 1770, or several hotel establishments today. It has a church renovated in the 19th century.
