Capital of the council of Sariego since the 1830s. It is located 260 meters above sea level and has a population of about 100 inhabitants.

Among its hamlet, along with official buildings such as the Town Hall, the modern house of culture or the pilgrims’ hostel, the Carmen del XVII chapel and several traditional mansions stand out.
