Church already mentioned in a document of the year 896 under the invocation of San Martín. After the foundation by Cristina of the Cornellana monastery, it was integrated into it.
It is an international Romanesque style temple, the largest preserved in Asturias from this time. It has three naves and a triple apse with semicircular apses, the central one being larger. The Camino de Santiago allows you to flank that area of the apses.
The facade of the church is from the Baroque period, being built in 1678 and integrating the Romanesque bell tower, which is preserved.
